Oyster
Sliders with Sweet Sauce
A
varitation of the small slider - A comfort food for oyster lovers
Ingredients:
2 dozen extra small oysters, drained
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves minced garlic
1 dozen sweet dinner rolls
4 oz chivari goat cheese
½ cup sweet chile sauce
½ cup Mayonnaise
½ Cup minced white onion
½ Cup minced shitake mushrooms
Garnish: colored tortilla Chips
Preparation:
Oysters:
In a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, lightly
sauté oysters in butter and minced garlic until edges
curl slightly, approx. 1-2 minutes. Set aside.
Dinner rolls:
Slice in half and lightly toast on sliced side, using a broiler.
Sweet Sauce:
Combine sweet chile sauce, mayonnaise, mushrooms, and onions
in a bowl.
Spread 1 tablespoon of sweet sauce on one side of a sliced toasted
dinner roll.
Spread ½ tablespoon of chevari goat cheese on the other
side of the sliced dinner roll.
To serve:
Add 2 sautéed oysters to one side of toasted dinner roll
cover with the other side and serve with colored tortilla chips
